The Cendrex PFN Fire-Rated Uninsulated Access Door with Exposed Flange is an essential component designed for use on fire-rated walls. Crafted from 16 gauge cold rolled steel, this durable access door features a 1" exposed flange and a frame that is 2½" deep, ensuring a robust and reliable installation. It is equipped with a self-latching tool-key and ring-operated slam latch mechanisms for secure closure, alongside a continuous piano hinge for smooth operation. The hinge is strategically positioned on the second dimension (height) to enhance accessibility and security. This access door is finished with a high-quality white powder coat primer for a clean and professional appearance. Additionally, it includes mechanisms for inside panel release, which are standard on all doors over 12" x 12" inches, facilitating easy opening from the inside. The rough opening required for installation is the door size plus ¼" or + 6mm, making it convenient for various wall constructions.
