AFM Safecoat® Dynoflex is a water-based, low-odor elastomer sealer that comes in a paste-like compound for sealing seams, joints and cracks in new and old heating and air conditioning ducts, and for repairing metal roofs and asphalt shingles. Also comes in a sprayable form that can be used over Safecoat® DynoSeal as a topcoat for roofs and decks. Highly resistant to harsh weather and temperature changes.

    Specifications

    Use OnNew and old heating and air conditioning ducts, metal roof cracks, damaged asphalt shingles, mobile home roofs and similar areas. 
    LimitationsSafecoat sealers are made without formaldehyde preservatives. Do not contaminate. Store in airtight containers. Do not use when indoor temperature is below 55 degrees F. Do not freeze. Thick application, high humidity or conditions other than normal will cause Safecoat to dry and cure more slowly.
    Surface PreparationClean surfaces of dirt, grease, mildew and oil. Old asphalt shingles should be power washed prior to treatment. Surface should be completely dry before application. Always spot test for adhesion over prior coatings.
    ApplicationApply with a trowel at 15 mils wet directly from the container without dilution. Two coats provide additional protection. Note: these instructions are intended to be general only and not exhaustive. The applicator should determine which preparation and techniques are best suited to the specific surface.
    Clean-upClean tools and equipment while they are still wet with a warm soapy water solution.
    Drying/Curing timeRe-coatable after 2 hours in normal conditions. Cures pliable in 24 hours. Normal conditions include a dry surface, access to fresh air flow, moderate humidity, and temperatures above 55 degrees F.
    Health PrecautionsAs with all coatings and sealers, keep container tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not take internally. Keep from freezing. Always use adequate ventilation.
