Pleasantly satisfied

I was a bit skeptical on how well this stain would perform, but I was pleased with how easy it was to apply and clean up. The color was just what I expected based on the color choices online. Now the real test is to see how it protects and holds up over the next few years. I'll let you know if I'm just as pleased as I am today.

It works

I bought this to test in comparison with the Vermont Natural Coatings Waterproofer with juniper for a screened porch with exposed wood framing. This product gave a prettier finish, but we went with the waterproofer because it was non-film forming, gave the appearance of bare wood, and is supposedly better for stabilizing exterior wood. If you want more of a 'finished' look and don't mind a film forming clear coat that may need to be sanded before reapplication, this is a good choice. No harsh smells. Very pleased with the this brand.

Excellent Product!

The stain was great to work with, no odor, easy clean up with water. I felt good about letting my children help stain using this product. It went on nice. I used the clear natural color over fresh pine, it simply made the wood a richer honey color. We’ll see how it holds up to winter weather. I’m hoping it doesn’t grey. Very satisfied with this product, would definitely recommend.
