The Cendrex PFN-GYP Fire-Rated Uninsulated Access Door with Drywall Flange is designed for integration into fire-rated walls, providing secure access while maintaining the integrity of the fire barrier. Its unique construction features a drywall bead flange that becomes invisible once finished with drywall compound, creating a seamless look. Constructed from durable 16 gauge cold-rolled steel, it includes a self-latching tool-key operated slam latch and ring operated slam latch for secure closure. The door is attached with a continuous piano hinge, ensuring reliable operation and alignment. Its frame, made from the same high-quality steel, measures 2½ inches in depth for robust installation. The door also features an inside panel release mechanism for opening from the inside, standard on all models larger than 12" x 12". Finished with a high-quality white powder coat primer, this access door combines functionality, security, and aesthetic appeal, making it an excellent choice for commercial and residential applications alike.
